What: Chick Hatch

Where: South County Museum, Narragansett
When: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., July 4
Every Independence Day, the South County Museum hatches the latest Rhode Island red chick babies. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children and seniors.
What: Fireworks and July 4 Celebration
Where: Old Mountain Field in Wakefield
When: 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. July 4
The celebration includes fireworks, a live concert, food and concessions and a 50/50 raffle.
