Larkin’s Pond Beach Club Back Open For Swimming: Dept. Of Health
Bacteria in the water returned to safe levels.

KINGSTON, RI — Larkin's Pond Beach Club in Kingston is once again safe for swimming, the Rhode Island Department of Health announced Wednesday night. Bacteria levels at the freshwater beach have returned to safe levels, the department said.
Larkin's Pond Beach Club was closed for 12 days before the department recommended reopening it.
At this time, the only Rhode Island beach closed for high bacteria levels is Dyer Woods Campground in Foster, closed since July 23.
