Lifeguard Shortage: Swim At Your Own Risk In South Kingstown
Due to staffing shortages, no lifeguards will be on duty at South Kingstown Town Beach this week.
SOUTH KINGSTOWN, RI — Swim at your own risk at South Kingstown Town Beach this week. Due to staffing issues, services will be limited Monday through Friday, and no lifeguards will be on duty.
The staffing issues are part of a statewide lifeguard shortage, the town said.
Full beach operations, including lifeguards, will resume for Labor Day weekend.
