Man Dies After Falling From Bucket Truck In Hopkinton

At approximately 3:45 p.m., police responded to reports of the man falling while trimming trees at Stacey Lane.

HOPKINTON, RI — A 49-year-old man died after falling from a 50-foot bucket truck Saturday afternoon.

About 3:45 p.m., police answered a report that the man had fallen while trimming trees at Stacey Lane. Police said the man suffered a traumatic arm injury and was taken to Westerly Hospital, but did not survive.

The man's identity has not been released.
