Two Rocky Hill Students Named Conference Athletes
Annie Coaty of Newport and Jamie Frost of Narragansett named tops in lacrosse, the school said.

EAST GREENWICH, RI —Two Rocky Hill School seniors have been named Player of the Year in lacrosse by the South East New England Athletic Conference, the school said. Annie Coaty, of Newport, was named Co-Player of the Year for girls’ varsity lacrosse. Jamie Frost, of Narragansett, was named Player of the Year for boys’ varsity lacrosse.

Coaty held the position of goalie and had 133 saves in eight games this season with a career total of 540 saves since her freshman year. She has captained Rocky Hill School’s Girls’ Varsity Lacrosse team during both her junior and senior years.

A 12-season athlete in the Upper School (grades 9-12), Coaty earned the following awards:

- 2017 SENE All-League, RHS MVP, SENE Co-Player of the Year
- 2016 SENE All-League, RHS MVP
She will attend University of Colorado, Boulder in the fall of 2018.
Frost scored 51 goals and had 32 assists in 10 games this season. He held the position of attack and was captain of the team for the past three years. A 21-season athlete (grades 6-12), Frost earned the following awards:
- 2017 Blanchard Award, SENE All League, SENE Player of Year
- 2016 Blanchard Award, SENE All League
- 2015 Blanchard Award, SENE All League
- 2014 MIP, SENE Honorable Mention

Frost will attend the University of Vermont in the fall.
