Narragansett Police Recruiting Summer Interns
The Community Service Officer internship runs from June 5 through Labor Day.

NARRAGANSETT, RI — The Narragansett Police Department is accepting applications for summer interns. The Community Service Officer program gives criminal justice students the opportunity to get hands-on, paid experience in law enforcement.
The program runs from June 5 through Labor Day, the department said in a release. Interns will work 40-hour weeks and will be responsible for providing security for town beaches, working parking duties and helping officers during special events.
Interested applicants are asked to fill out a seasonal employment application, notarized release of information authorization form and provide a letter from a dean, adviser, department head or other school employee proving that the student is in a criminal justice program. Required forms are available on the department's website. Completed forms must be returned to the department in person or mailed to 40 Caswell St., Narragansett RI, 02882, ATTN Lieutenant Anthony Pelopida.
