Narragansett Receives 3 Clothing Donation Bins
The town partnered with Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Rhode Island to place three clothing donation bins around town.
NARRAGANSETT, RI — It just got a little easier to donate clothing in South County. The town of Narragansett partnered with Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Rhode Island to place three new donation bins throughout town.
The bins can be found at Dominic Christofaro Park, Narragansett Pier Middle School and the Parks and Recreation Department at 170 Clarke Rd. Members of the community can drop off unwanted shoes, clothing and other textiles. The items will be used to benefit the organization's mentoring programs.
Big Brothers, Big Sisters will maintain the bins, collecting donations and addressing vandalism or dumping. Residents who see issues are encouraged to let the Narragansett Parks and Recreation Department know.
