Narragansett, South Kingstown Police Joint Drug Bust
Tyrone Nettles was out on bail at the time of this investigation for reportedly selling crack cocaine in Providence.

NARRAGANSETT, RI — With some help from the Narragansett Police, South Kingstown Police closed an almost three month long investigation. Thursday, Tyrone Nettles, 39 of Providence was charged with distributing crack cocaine and operating a motor vehicle without a license.
The Nettles investigation started in June. South Kingstown Police got a tip that Nettles was selling drugs to residents in South Kingstown and Narragansett.
Nettles was out on bail at the time of this investigation for reportedly selling crack cocaine in Providence. Police said he has several prior convictions for distributing crack cocaine and heroin

Police said a sting operation was set up between a police informant and Nettles. Nettles sold 17.5 grams of crack cocaine to the informant in South Kingstown. A search warrant for Nettles was granted.
Narragansett Police executed the search warrant arrested Nettles. They brought him to the South Kingstown Police Department.

Nettles was later brought to the Fourth Division Court. Nettles was held without bail before being sent to the Adult Correctional Institute in Cranston.
