Narragansett Woman Arrested for Fraudulent Checks

NARRAGANSETT, RI — Members of the Financial Crimes Unit arrested Wendy Goodine, age 43, of Narragansett, on Jan. 19. She was taken into custody on an affidavit/arrest warrant for Fraudulent Checks Over $1,500.

She was also wanted on a bench warrant for Failure to Appear for Restitution Review on a charge of Forgery and Counterfeiting originating from the Wickford Barracks; and on a Washington County Superior Court Bench Warrant for Probation Violation, state police said.

Ms. Goodine was processed at the Wickford Barracks and arraigned in Fourth Division District Court. She was released on $5,000 personal recognizance.
