No 'Dampened' Holiday Spirits For Me!

     Heeeeere's, Arthur! Talk about raining on someone's 'parade'...er...fireworks; this darned hurricane is messin' with the holiday! And...BTW...isn't it a bit, EARLY for this, type, storm, anyway? With the average, hurricane-season bringing about it's share of annual-storms, one occurring in early July, does seem a bit premature; yet, per a friend of mine who 'knows his stuff' with respect to meteorological-'events', June is, actually, the beginning of said season. Who knew? Well...at least he did, now I do, as well. June through October is the time-frame for when these, awesome, forces of nature, typically, show up. I guess, never before being impacted by one, on the 4th of July, at least not that I can recollect, had me thinking it was too soon for one...guess not! So, then...along comes Hurricane Arthur, winding his way up the coast, just in time to ruin the July 4th festivities. What's up with that? Ya know...before masculine names were added to the list for 'naming' these, weather-systems, they were, ALWAYS, named for women. I had heard, that, this is because woman can be, SO, unpredictable. Well...Arthur, what have you got to say about that, huh? Cause, honestly, I find it, pretty, 'unpredictable', or, at the very, least, 'inconsiderate' of you to show up just in time to ruin the holiday. Just like a man! Just KIDDING guys! HAPPY, SOGGY, 4th, to ALL! Just Sayin'...
