Obituary: James H.W. Reakes, 78

James H.W. Reakes, 78, of Wakefield passed away on Wednesday May 20, 2015 at his home.

He was the husband of the late Margaret (Kelly) Reakes.

Born in Providence, RI he was the son of the late Herbert and Ada (Manley) Reakes. James was the owner and operator of the James H.W. Reakes Painting Company before retiring.

He was a member of the A.M. Veterans Post # 33.

He is survived by three daughters, Debra Reakes -Chalko, Patricia Osler, Donna Langille, three sons, Thomas, Herbert and Christopher Reakes, twenty one grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He was the father of the late Diane Reakes-Higgins and brother of the late Phyllis Shaw and Dorothy Pearcey.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of James may be made to Newman Church Deacons Fund or Home and Hospice Care of RI.
