Odd-Even Water Ban In Effect In Narragansett, South Kingstown

SUEZ Water-Rhode Island, all Narragansett town water customers and Middlebridge and South Shore customers in South Kingstown are included.

NARRAGANSETT-SOUTH KINGSTOWN, RI — An odd-even outdoor water ban is in effect in South Kingstown and Narragansett. The policy only applies to SUEZ and town water customers.

The water ban was put in place ahead of an anticipated increase in water usage during the summer months. Residents with odd-numbered addresses can water on odd-numbered days, while even-numbered addresses can water on even days.

SUEZ Water-Rhode Island, all Narragansett town water customers and Middlebridge and South Shore customers in South Kingstown are affected. Kingston Water District customers are not included in the policy.

"This watering restriction is being enacted to ensure sufficient supply to meet customer
needs," the town said in a statement. "In addition, water customers are encouraged to use water wisely."
