Police ID SK Man Killed In Crash
Narragansett Police released the name of the 22-year-old South Kingstown man killed in a single-car crash on Foddering Farm Road early on Monday morning.

Narragansett Police have identified the victim of
Ryan P. Wilhere, 22, of 136 Green Hill Beach Road, South Kingstown, was treated on scene for serious injuries by Narragansett Fire Department units and transported to South County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
According to Narragansett Police Captain William McGovern, police responded to a one-car motor vehicle accident involving a pick-up truck on Foddering Farm Road at about 12:25 a.m. on Monday. Wilhere's truck reportedly veered off of the road and struck several objects.

Srgt. Brian Routhier said the cause of the crash was still under investigation as of 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, but that information would be forthcoming as the department's accident reconstruction unit studied the circumstances of the crash.
It is the second fatal accident in four months in Narragansett. In December, a North Providence woman died in a crash at the intersection of Point Judith Road and Clarke Road. After an accident reconstruction, no criminal charges were filed by police.
