Police Log: Scrap Metal Theft
The following arrest information was supplied by the South Kingstown Police Department and describes their actions from Tuesday, Feb. 21 through Friday, Feb. 24. These reports do not indicate a conviction. Tuesday, Feb. 21

A Wicked Innovations employee reported on Wednesday, Feb. 22 at 1:29 p.m. that someone stole about $200 worth of aluminum and steel scrap metal from the Liberty Road shop. After police spoke with neighbor and they checked their yard, they noted more than $1,000 in missing scrap metal. The scrap metal at both properties was unsecured. Police are investigating a lead.
Suspended License Charges
Matthew J. Pincince, 28, of 51 Ram Island Road, Charlestown, was arrested on Feb. 17 and charged with driving with a suspended license. He was arraigned in Fourth Division District Court on Feb. 21.

Guy Royal Newsome, 48, of 245 Stony Road Apt A, Exeter, was arrested on Wednesday, Feb. 22 at 2:37 p.m. and charged with driving with a suspended license after he allegedly ran a red traffic light on Route 1. According to reports his license was suspended for failure to pay child support. He will be arraigned in Fourth Division District Court on March. 8.

Mark L. Pates, 26, of 39 Rolens Drive, was cited on Thursday, Feb. 23 at 10:46 a.m. and charged with failure to pay expenses associated with impoundment. According to reports, Pates failed to pay a $100 fine from Nov. 26. He will be arraigned in Fourth Division District Court on March 8.
Trespassing Charge
Caitlin J. Delsesto, 21, of 37 Brae St., North Providence, was arrested on Thursday, Feb. 23 at 4:39 p.m. and charged with willful trespass after residents at a Fortin Road address called police reporting an unwanted person was in their home. She will be arraigned in Fourth Division District Court on March. 8.
Driving Without A License
Crystal Ambia Islam, 20, of 45 Bonner St., Stamford, CT, was arrested on Thursday, Feb. 23 at 5:26 p.m. and charged with driving without a license and obstructing an officer after she allegedly collided with another car on Kingstown Road. She will be arraigned in Fourth Division District Court on March. 8.
