Police Log: Fall River Man Arrested On Drug Charges
The following arrest information was supplied by the South Kingstown Police Department and describes their actions from Sept. 1-2. These reports do not indicate a conviction.

A 26-year-old Fall River man is facing a felony charge of cocaine possession after he tried to smuggle the drugs into a concert at the Ryan Center at the University of Rhode Island on Tuesday night.
Richard A. Puopolo, 26, of 529 High St., Fall River, MA, was arrested at 8 p.m. after South Kingstown Police allegedly found bags of cocaine in his socks. According to police reports, Puopolo was attempting to enter the Ryan Center via a security check point where all patrons are searched prior to admittance to the concert. Police allege that Poupolo then left his place in line and walked to the side of the building where he hid something in his sock before returning to the security line. Police thought Puopolo's behavior was suspicious, removed him from the line and searched him. Police allegedly found a small plastic bag containing a white powdery substance in one sock and in the other found a separate bag that held three plastic capsules with a powdery substance inside.
"I don't usually use that stuff, but it was a rave," Puopolo reportedly said to officers after his arrest.
