Police Release Frightening Photos of Durkin Cottage Armed Robbery in Search for Suspects

Photos from the security system show an employee on the ground as three suspects robbed the realty office on Point Judith Road in December.

Narragansett detectives continue to investigate the armed robbery at the Durkin Cottage Realty office on Point Judith Road last December during which three men burst into the office and demanded cash.

Police have now released security camera images from the frightening incident in the hopes of identifying one or more of the suspects.

Police said the three suspects entered the business on Dec. 15 at around 6:44 p.m. and demanded to know the location of the office money after ordering the female employee to the floor at gunpoint.

The suspects are described as being about six feet tall and “kind of scrawny,” police said.

The first suspect was holding a black handgun and is wearing black pants, black jacket over a white hooded sweatshirt and grey Jordan sneakers.

The second suspect was wearing blue ski gloves and a black puffy hooded jacket with blue shoulders and an apparent Polo symbol located on the left breast. He carried a knife and cut the telephone and computer wires on one of the desks.

The third suspect was wearing grey Adidas pants, a dark shirt, a grey balaclava style mask, and was wearing a dark colored North Face backpack.

The suspects fled the scene on foot and were last observed running east on Point Judith Road towards the direction of Angell Road.
