Recycling Event Open To Narragansett, SK Residents
The event will be held at Narragansett Town Beach from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on March 7.
NARRAGANSETT, RI — Just in time for spring cleaning, South Kingstown residents are invited to get rid of unwanted electronics and old documents at the town's recycling event on Saturday. The event will be held at Narragansett Town Beach and will run from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The event is open to South Kingstown and Narragansett residents only. Each person can bring up to two boxes of paper for shredding, as well as old electronics. Computers, printers, monitors, televisions — pretty much anything with a plug — will be accepted, free of charge.
For $10 each, residents can dispose of Freon appliances such as laser-jet printers, mini-refrigerators, air conditioners or dehumidifiers.

Household hazardous waste will not be accepted. For more information, call the Narragansett Recycling Coordinator at 401-782-0635 or the South Kingstown Recycling Coordinator at 401-789-9331 ext. 2259.
