NARRAGANSETT, RI — Tropical Storm Henri came and went in Rhode Island Sunday, but it could make and encore appearance Monday. Much of the state is under a flood watch as the storm threatens to return to the region, with the potential to bring more heavy rain to the already waterlogged Ocean State.

The National Weather Service placed most of Rhode Island under a "moderate" risk of excessive rainfall and isolated flooding. That's the second-highest level of risk, and means there is a 20 to 50 percent chance of heavy rainfall.

The forecast comes less than a day after parts of the state saw nearly four inches of rainfall on Sunday. Westerly, the site of the storm's landfall, had the highest rainfall total in the state, at 3.81 inches, according to the National Weather Service.
