NARRAGANSETT, RI—The cold and the wind chill continue to top the weather headlines, with feel like temperatures 11 below for New Year's Eve and 12 below New Year's Day in Newport and a tad warmer in Narragansett. The National Weather Service has issued a wind chill advisory for Coventry, Bristol and points north from 8 p.m. Dec. 31 until noon on Jan. 1.
The snow jackpot was Westerly with 2.6 inches.
