Roy Carpenter's Beach Reopened To Swimming
All Rhode Island beaches are currently open to swimming.
SOUTH KINGSTOWN, RI — Rhode Island's last closed beach is back open to the public. After a four-day closure, Roy Carpenter's Beach has been declared safe for swimming.
The Rhode Island Department of Health said bacteria in the water has returned to safe levels. At this time, no other beaches are closed in the state.
