Scarborough South, Barrington Beaches Closed To Swimming
The Rhode Island Department of Health reported high bacteria levels at both beaches.

NARRAGANSETT, RI — Two Rhode Island beaches are closed to swimming due to high bacteria levels. The state's Department of Health recommended closing Scarborough Beach South and Barrington Town Beach Tuesday evening.
Scarborough Beach North is still open to swimming.
The department will continue to monitor bacteria levels at both beaches until they return to safe levels. For the latest beach closure information, called the prerecorded beach line at 401-222-2751.
