Scholarships Available For Washington County Women
GFWC Women's Club Of South County Has Funds For Obtaining A College Degree Or A Certificate Required To Practice A Career Or Vocation

The GFWC Women’s Club of South County is offering scholarships to
Washington County women age nineteen and up who need financial
assistance to acquire a degree (associate or bachelor’s) or a
certificate required to practice a career or vocation. Applicants must
be enrolled in, or accepted in, an accredited educational program.
Preference is given to highly motivated low-income women—with or without
dependents—who need further education to become more self-supporting.
Scholarship awards range from hundreds to thousands of dollars for
selected applicants. All funds are distributed directly to the
educational institution for tuition costs only. Applications are being
accepted from now until April 1, for awards to be announced in May. To
