"Shout Out" for your Library! in Narragansett

The Friends of the Narragansett Library will host a kickoff event in support of the November bond issue for a new library. "Shout Out" for Your Library! will be held on Tuesday, August 16, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Towers, 35 Ocean Road in Narragansett. The event will feature information and an architectural drawing. Hors d'oeuvres, desserts, music and cash bar will be available. Tickets at $20 are available at the library's Circulation Desk prior to the event. Learn how your voice can support your new library.

There will also be a drawing for a beautiful, framed Bill Krull photograph. Raffle tickets are $5 or three for $10 and can be purchased at the Circulation Desk. The Maury Loontjens Memorial Library is at 35 Kingstown Rd. in Narragansett. For information, call the library at 401-789-9507.
