SK Police Identify Woman Found Apparently Drowned On Saturday
Officers responded to 100 Wildflower Trail early Saturday for an apparent drowning victim.
SOUTH KINGSTOWN, RI — The woman found apparently drowned in a swimming pool on Saturday has been identified as Nancy Degnan-Couch, 61. According to South Kingstown police, officers responded to 100 Wildflower Trail early Saturday. She had been pulled out of the pool and was on the ground when police arrived. Capt. Joel Ewing-Chow said no details are being released. The investigation is still ongoing, and police are waiting for the state medical examiner to determine the exact cause of death.
