SK Police Log: March 21 to March 27, 2012

The following incident reports are based solely on information provided by the South Kingstown Police Department and describes their actions from March 21 to March 27, 2012. These reports do not indicate a conviction.

Drug Possession Charges

  • Samuel George Weeden, 31, of 16 West Main St. Apt. C, North Kingstown, was arrested on Tuesday, March 27 at 1:15 a.m. and charged with possession of marijuana, first offense, after he was stopped for swerving on Route 1. Police administered a field sobriety test, which he passed. Weeden will be arraigned in Fourth Division District Court on April 5.
  • Melissa Clark, 42, of 240 Railroad Ave., Saunderstown, was arrested on Saturday, March 24 at 8:09 p.m. and charged with five felony counts of false representation to obtain a controlled substance. She was released an hour later on $10,000 personal recognizance plus costs pending a hearing in Fourth Division District Court.
  • Kerry Fenner, 23, of 40 Durkin Drive, Narragansett, was arrested on Saturday, March 24 at 1:40 a.m. on a bench warrant from Fourth Division District Court and subsequently charged with possession of marijuana, first offense, and possession of a controlled substance, a felony. He was arraigned that day.

Suspended License Charges

  • Tianna Cruz-Perry, 18, of 20 Broad Rock Road, was arrested on Monday, March 26, at 3:06 p.m. and charged with driving without a license after she was stopped for speeding on Curtis Corner Road. She will be arraigned in Fourth Division District Court on April 5.
  •  Carolyn M. Allen, 30, of 3047 South County Trail, was arrested on Monday, March 26 at 10:12 a.m. on a bench warrant from Fourth Division District Court for failure to appear for a suspended license charge. She was arraigned that day.

Drunken-Driving Charges

  • A 17-year-old South Kingstown male was arrested on Sunday, March 25 at 1:11 a.m. and charged with chemical test refusal by a person under 18 after he was involved in a single-car accident on Pine Hill Road. The youth allegedly admitted to drinking three 16-ounce beers in the hours prior to the crash. The matter was referred to the juvenile division.
  • Casey L. Coleman, 20, of 71 Highland Ave., Middletown, CT, was arrested on Friday, March 23 at 11:50 p.m. and charged with driving under the influence, first offense, BAC .15 or greater after she allegedly rear-ended another car on Route 1 South. Police arrested her after she failed a field sobriety test and at the station administered a chemical test where she registered a blood-alcohol level of .194 and .199. She will be arraigned in Fourth Division District Court on April 5.

Warrants

  • Lucas B. Pender, 23, of 9 Tomahawk Trail South, was arrested on Sunday, March 25 at 12:49 a.m. on a bench warrant from Fourth Division District Court for failure to appear after he was stopped for speeding. Police determined he was also wanted by Westerly Police and Pender was released to their custody.

 Domestic Charges

  • Jonathan Demers, 30, of 104 Riverside Drive, was arrested on Sunday, March 25 at 7:57 p.m. and charged with domestic disorderly conduct and domestic vandalism. He will be arraigned in Fourth Division District Court on April 5.

Underage Transportation Of Alcohol Charges

  • Joseph D. Degirolam Pm, 18, of 190 Cliff Drive, North Attleborough, MA, was cited on Friday, March 23 at 1:15 p.m. and charged with transportation of alcohol by an underage person. He will be arraigned in Fourth Division District Court on April 5.
  •  Paul M. Muller, 20, of 62 Fruit St., Norfolk, MA, was cited Friday, March 23 at 6:32 p.m. and charged with transportation of alcohol by an underage person after police watched a passenger in Mueller’s car load alcohol into the vehicle in front of Wakefield Liquors. He will be arraigned in Fourth Division District Court on April 5.
  • Helen Pucino, 18, of 204 Pinnery Ave., Warwick, was cited on Friday, March 23 at 11:38 a.m. and charged with transportation of alcohol by an underage person after her car collided with another car on Route 1. She will be arraigned in Fourth Division District Court on April 5.
