Snow No! 2 More Snowstorms for Narragansett, SK This Week

They will hit on Thursday and Saturday.

The National Weather Service is predicting another several inches of snow could fall for Narragansett and South Kingstown on Thursday.

The NWS said snow is likely to start falling on Thursday afternoon and stretch into Friday morning.

“The greatest impact will be across Eastern and Southeastern portions of New England, including Eastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island,” said the NWS.

The forecast calls for 4 to 6 inches for northern Rhode Island with 3 to 4 inches likely in the south.

After the storm leaves, arctic air and bitterly cold wind chills are expected Friday night and Saturday morning.

Another winter storm could hit Saturday into Sunday. The NWS said there is a “moderate risk” of a weekend storm.
