Beach Passes On Sale For South Kingstown Residents
Beaches will have social distancing rules and lowered capacity this summer, town officials said.

SOUTH KINGSTOWN, RI — Ahead of beach season, the town of South Kingstown has announced new regulations and policies to keep staff and visitors safe. There will be limits on the number of people on the beach and strict social distancing requirements, the town said in a statement.
Residents can buy beach passes online or via drop box.
To buy a pass online, residents must register for an account with the Parks and Recreation Department. Allow one business day for account setup, or call 401-789-9301 for assistance. Once the account has been created, log into the registration website by clicking "register now" and follow the instructions.

To purchase a pass using the Guild drop box, download and fill out an application. Then, drop off the application in a sealed envelope with payment (check only, no cash) in the drop box to the right of the Guild's main entrance.
The South Kingstown Town Beach Policy for 2020 reflects necessary modifications that address the current restrictions and mandates related to Covid-19. This includes a lower beach capacity and social distancing rules for patrons and staff. To view the complete policy click on the link below.

After the pass has been purchased and proof of residency has been provided, someone from the department will reach out to set up a pickup time at the Neighborhood Guild from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. from May 18 to June 12 or on weekends at the Town Beach starting May 23 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. After June 15, passes can be picked up at the beach seven days a week.
Anyone purchasing a senior pass must show proof of age when the pass is issued.
