South Kingstown Elects New Town Council, Approves Recreation Center
Voters also agreed to $4 million in school improvements.

South Kingstown voters on Tuesday elected a new Town Council and approved a new recreation facility.
There were 12 candidates for five council seats. The winners were:
- Margaret Healy (4,368 votes)
- Joe Viele (4,265)
- Rachel Clough (4,200)
- Abel Collins (4,006)
- Carol McEntee (3,945)
The sixth-place finisher was Liz Gledhill with 3,795 votes.
