South Kingstown Elects New Town Council, Approves Recreation Center

Voters also agreed to $4 million in school improvements.

South Kingstown voters on Tuesday elected a new Town Council and approved a new recreation facility.

There were 12 candidates for five council seats. The winners were:

  • Margaret Healy (4,368 votes)
  • Joe Viele (4,265)
  • Rachel Clough (4,200)
  • Abel Collins (4,006)
  • Carol McEntee (3,945)

The sixth-place finisher was Liz Gledhill with 3,795 votes.
