South Kingstown Opens Public Water Stations Amid Power Outages

Residents can fill containers with potable water at four local fire stations.

SOUTH KINGSTOWN, RI — South Kingstown residents still without power can get water from local fire stations, the town announced Tuesday. Filling stations have been set up outside four stations in town.

The Kingston and Union Fire Districts set up outdoor garden hoses with potable water at the following locations:

  • Kingston Station, 35 Bills Road
  • Peace Dale Station, 460 High Street
  • Tuckertown Station, 1116 Ministerial Road
  • Matunuck Station, 49 School House Road

Residents must bring their own containers to fill, and are asked to avoid blocking fire station bay doors when parking.
