SOUTH KINGSTOWN, RI — Five candidates have officially won the Democratic primary for Town Council in South Kingston, the Rhode Island Board of Elections announced.
Results show that Rory McEntee, Deborah Bergner, Jessica Lee Rose, Patricia Alley and Michael Marran have garnered the most votes of the seven candidates.

There's was also a contested Democratic primary for state senate in District 38. Victoria Gu defeated Sarah Ahern and Michael Niemeyer, garnering 1,859 votes.
