South Kingstown Ranked No. 3 Safest Community in Rhode Island
The community was ranked at the top of a survey compiled by SafeWise.
South Kingstown was ranked one of the safest communities in the state in a recent survey.
SafeWise ranked communities based on violent crimes and property crimes. South Kingstown came in at No. 3. Glocester was ranked No. 1.
Rhode Island has about 30 percent less violent crime than the national average. None of the cities in the top 10 list reported a murder.
