South Kingstown Teen Charged with Dealing Cocaine, Pills, Pot

The 17-year-old was arrested after tips from concerned citizens. Police said he had more than $7,000 in cash.

A South Kingstown teenager on Monday was charged with dealing cocaine, marijuana, and pills.

The 17-year-old male, whose name was not released, was arrested after police received tips from citizens about drug activity at a home on Branch Street. Police obtained a search warrant and on Monday arrived to search the residence. They said they found a safe with 9 grams of cocaine, 4 ounces of marijuana, six Lorazepam pills, $7,241 in cash, baggies, and a digital scale.

Police said at the time of teen’s arrest, he was on probation for undisclosed charges.
