If you didn't know it, Girl Scouts all over America have started their cookie season! You may have had a Girl Scout knock on your door, you may see online posts selling the tasty Girl Scout cookies or you may even see the Girl Scouts at community events or at booth sales.
Southgansett Girl Scouts had its annual "Cookie Kick-Off" at URI's Boss Ice Arena, last Sunday. It was open to everyone and the event was well attended. Not only was it a skating event but it was also a fundraising event. "Birthday Bag" donations were accepted and were donated to local agencies that help assist those in need.
Thank you to the community to came and donating the much-needed items!
