Sun Safety Day Set For July 7 At Town Beach
Free cancer screenings and tips to stay safe in the sun are being offered July 7 at Narragansett Town Beach from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

NARRAGANSETT, RI — Sun Safety Day is July 7 at Narragansett Town Beach. The program includes free skin cancer screenings and free sunscreen, as well as some education about the risks of skin cancer. The event is being arranged by the state health department, the Town of Narragansett and a sunscreen manufacturer, Raw Elements.

WHEN: Friday, July 7 from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
WHERE: Narragansett Town Beach South Pavilion.
WHAT: Beach-goers can receive free skin-cancer screenings and learn about sun safety. Plus, due to the recent addition of the Sun Shield touch-free dispensers, anyone can receive complimentary Raw Elements ECO FORMULA 30+ SPF sunscreen,available at the six entry points of the beach.
