Theft From Cars On Rise: Purse Stolen From Car In South Kingstown
The victim's stolen credit cards were used 23 times in Providence, Pawtucket and South Attleboro, Massachusetts before cancelling.
SOUTH KINGSTOWN, RI — Police said a purse was stolen from a car parked at the Amtrak parking lot near the bike path. The incident happened on Sept. 8. Police need help identifying the suspect wearing the red and black hat in the images above.
The victim’s stolen credit cards were used 23 times in Providence, Pawtucket and South Attleboro, Massachusetts before cancelling.
Police said the department has seen an increase in the number of thefts from cars, particularly near the Amtrak parking lot.

"Please remember to lock your vehicle doors and attempt to place your valuables (purses, lap tops, etc...) so that they're are not easily visable," police announced on Facebook.
