Do you have questions about Medicare? State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) Counselors provide, free, unbiased help to Medicare questions, plan selection, and enrollment support. Counselors are not affiliated with any health insurance companies and are available to provide help to Medicare beneficiaries, their families, and caregivers. A certified Counselor will give you one-on­ one guidance based on your unique situation and needs, including:

• Understanding your Medicare options

• Medicare plan comparisons and enrollment

• Medicare troubleshooting billing issues and appeals

• Screening for assistance for Medicare prescriptions and premiums

• Educating on how to prevent, detect, and report Medicare fraud, errors, and abuse

• Referral to other resources
