URI Club Brings Slopes To Campus
Despite the rain, dozens turned up for last night's rail jam competition at the University of Rhode Island.
The University of Rhode Island Snowboard and Ski Club hosted the fourth annual Jam the Ram compitition last night at the Sigma Pi Fraternity.
Jam the Ram is an open entry, jam style competition with four classes: men’s snowboard, women’s snowboard, skiers and gromit’s (16 under).
Participants were asked to contribute donations for Rhode Island’s Local Food Bank and the Institute for the Study and Practice of Non Violence also collected winter grear and extreme sports equipment.
