Video: Boater Rescues Man From Drowning In Narragansett
"As a boat came by I waved at him frantically and pointed to him, showing him where the man was in the water."
NARRAGANSETT, RI — A boater near the coast at Hazard Rock pulled a man who was swept up in waves that pulled him off a cliff.
Spencer Oliver who submitted the video to NBC 10 News said the man was dragged underwater by the weight of his waders. Oliver then he called 911 and got the attention of a nearby boater.
"As a boat came by I waved at him frantically and pointed to him, showing him where the man was in the water, " Oliver said in a Facebook post.

After the man was saved by the boater, he was taken to the hospital and treated for shock. The man's name and condition were not immediately released.
