's cafeteria was a sea of " Saturday afternoon as hundreds gathered to root on Elizabeth Beisel in her first event of the Olympic Games.

Beisel has another shot at a gold medal on Thursday when she competes in the 200-meter backstroke. If she wins, she will become the first Olympian born and raised in Rhode Island to win an individual gold medal.
