The Wakefield Village Association presents "Wakefield Endless Summer" on Thursday, August 17th from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Celebrate the summer season in southern Rhode Island on Main Street in historic, downtown Wakefield at an island-themed luau - the 'perfect wave' of family fun for everyone. There will be over 40 local artisans, limbo, conga, and hula dancing, among surf decor and a gigantic, walk-through replica of a volcano and waterfall. Child-friendly activities/games, and special guests will be earlier in the evening. In later hours, the event kicks up with local bands - The Z Boys, The Mintones, and The Indestructibles ...an amazing time!!
For every $5 donation, you'll get a Hawaiian Lei for your support! Admission is free, but a suggested $5 per person donation is appreciated, which will help support the event, Wakefield Village Association, and the local community.
