WATCH: House Dist. 33 Candidates Discuss the Issues at Forum
With a special election just days away on June 9, all four candidates sat down to answer questions at a candidate forum on Thursday night.

The four candidates vying for the Rhode Island House Dist. 33 seat in the June 9 special election gathered to answer a variety of questions at a forum organized by the League of Women Voters on Thursday night.
Candidates answered questions about the state’s economy, the declining state financial support of the University of Rhode Island, the legalization of marijuana, affordable housing, government waste and whether the state Ethics Commission should have oversight of members of the General Assembly, among other issues.
The hour-long discussion was moderated by yours truly, Patch Editor Mark Schieldrop.
