Westerly Woman Charged With 3rd DUI In 5 Years

Richmond Police arrested D'Ann Keniston, 37, on Saturday after receiving a call that she was swerving erractically on Richmond Townhouse Rd.

RICHMOND, RI — A Westerly woman was charged with drunken driving for the third time in less than five years over the weekend in Richmond. Police said they received a call of a driver swerving across the yellow line on Richmond Townhouse Road in Carolina just before 9 a.m.

Richmond police said D'Ann Keniston, 37, of Westerly, was arrested following a field sobriety test. At the police station, Keniston refused to take a breathalyzer test and was charged with DUI, blood alcohol content unknown, third offense. Police said this is her third offense in five years.

Keniston was arraigned before a justice of the peace and later released on $10,000 personal recognizance.
