Which RI Beaches Are Closed For Sunday?
Third Beach in Middletown, Slack Reservoir (on the Johnston-Greenville line) and Breezy Lake in Coventry are closed. Bonnet Shores reopens.
NARRAGANSETT, RI — The Bonnet Shores Beach Club in Narragansett is safe for swimming and can re-open, the state health department said. But Third Beach in Middletown is still closed for swimming because of high bacteria levels. Also, the Slack Reservoir (on the Johnston-Greenville line) is still off-limits due to blue-green algae blooms.
Finally, Coventry police say Breezy Lake is off-limits for swimming.
