10 Ducklings Saved In Newport After Falling Into Catch Basin

The ducklings were reunited with their mother thanks to one of Newport's Water Pollution Control crews.

NEWPORT, RI — A family of ducks was reunited thanks to one of Newport's Water Pollution Control crews.

City officials said 10 ducklings fell into a catch basin on Tuesday, separating them from their mother.

"We're happy to report that after a bit of work, the mother and babies were able to happily and safely go on their way!" city officials said in a statement on Facebook.
