Adult Coloring at the Newport Public Library

The Newport Public Library, 300 Spring Street, Newport, will be hosting an Adult Coloring Program on Wednesday, March 23 3:30-5:00 PM in the library’s Stride Room. Participants are welcome to drop-in and color! Detailed coloring sheets and colored pencils will be provided, but participants may bring their own coloring utensils if they wish. This program is free and open to the public. 

Adult Coloring is said to be able to lift the mood, reduce anxiety and relieve stress. In addition to relaxation, the health benefits include exercising fine motor skills and training the brain to focus, as well as stimulating the senses and creativity.
