Almost Time for Polo
The winter can't last much longer now that Newport Polo has announced its new season.
NEWPORT, RI —Newport Polo's 2017 season starts June 3. Teams, including national debuts, and gala details will be announced this month by private monthly Enewsletter Subscription, and published at www.nptpolo.com.
According to the press release, new teams have been invited to debut this year, to continue the its international tradition. To date, teams from 33 countries have taken to the field for the Newport International Polo Series, to challenge USA, from England, Ireland, Scotland, France, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa, Egypt, India, New Zealand, Australia, Chile, Argentina, Costa Rica, Jamaica, Barbados, Canada, Hungary, Dominican Republic, Netherlands, Kenya, Brazil, China, Italy, Mexico, Sweden, Singapore, Monaco and Morocco.
Group Sales have begun this month. The Box Office opens on March 15 at www.nptpolo.com. Public exhibition matches are held every Saturday, June through September, plus charity matches and special events, club member services and polo training.
