Aquidneck Island Children's Art Contest Deadline is April 30

To celebrate its 25th anniversary, the Aquidneck Land Trust launched the contest to see how future generations view the community.

The Aquidneck Land Trust celebrates its 25th anniversary this year and to celebrate, they’ve decided to have a children’s drawing contest to see how future generations view their community.

“So much of the work we do is to save this amazing and beautiful Island for future generations. We want to see how the young people of Aquidneck Island view their communities, and what better way than artistically!” the land trust said in a release. “What is your favorite thing in nature on Aquidneck Island? Show us with your art!”

A winner will be announced in June. The winner will receive $100 cash prize, and will be featured in an upcoming promotional campaigns.
