Back to healing. Chiropractic Society of Rhode Island announces board for 2015-16.

Newport resident Dr. Michael Gottfried of Aquidneck Chiropractic of Middletown was named President of the Chiropractic Society of RI.

The Chiropractic Society of Rhode Island (CSRI) recently announced members of its board of directors for the coming year. Dr. Michael Gottried of Aquidneck Chiropractic of Middletown will be the president, with Dr. David Dwyer of Tollgate Chiropractic of Warwick and Dr. David Farley of Farley & Associates of Cranston serving as the first and second vice presidents respectively.

Dr. Aaron Salinger of Balance Chiropractic in Providence will serve as treasurer, with Dr. David Aragao of Aragao Family Chiropractic of Woonsocket and Cumberland as secretary. Dr. Alan Post of Absolute Chiropractic of North Kingston and Newport will be the member-at-large.

“I’m delighted to be serving as president with such an esteemed group of chiropractic professionals,” said Gottfried. “We have a number of initiatives underway to make even more people aware of the health and wellness benefits of chiropractic and to make our Society an even more valuable resource to our members.”

CSRI, founded in 1918, is one of the oldest chiropractic associations in the country and represents over 60 of the practicing chiropractic physicians in the state of Rhode Island.
