Working on your resume? Thinking of snagging an internship? Bike Newport has an opportunity for you.
Bike Newport, a nonprofit that has been working to encourage and facilitate biking on Aquidneck Island, is looking for hardworking and passionate interns who crave new skills and want to work on some big projects.
The ideal candidate will be friendly, good with people, understands the promise of bikes and “is creative and thoughtful when interacting in the community and building relationships,” according to the nonprofit’s job posting.

As an intern, you’ll get to work with local youth and adults to repair bikes at their two bike garages, help staff for a variety of events including the Volvo Ocean Roace, the Newport Jazz and Folk Festivals and more.
