We have already professed our love for built-in shelving. Now we’d like to kick it up a notch and express just how much we love colorfully creative bookends to decorate these said shelves. Grouping books together by color and size is a great tactic, but popping a few upright and stacking interestingly shaped bookends against them- now that’s pure genius. You can make your own (think painted cinder blocks, bricks, tree stumps) or purchase some at your favorite design shop. Either way, when your shelves are decked with beautiful bookends, you’re even more inclined to reach for the book over the iPhone any day!
